Hitachi EX8000 Slew Bearing Seated Surface Restoration

In Situ Machining takes great pride in our expertise in machining worn bearing seated surfaces back to OEM specifications. Our recent successful completion of a large-scale job on a Hitachi EX8000 is a testament to our unwavering commitment to teamwork and safety. Hitachi Ex2500 Refurbishment Line Boring and Circular Milling

In Situ Machining was selected to perform a range of machining restoration services on a Hitachi Ex2500. The company's versatile machining capabilities enabled them to conduct Mobile line boring repairs to the Stick and Boom, in addition to providing Bearing Seated surface restoration using a circular milling machine. It is commendable that In Situ Machining was able to offer both machining services to their client on the same job, showcasing their commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions in challenging enviroments.

Pit Viper Carousel Shaft Restoration

In Situ Machining is proud to offer our clients On-site External Shaft Turning services, which provide a cost-effective solution for restoring worn-out components such as the Pit Viper Shaft Carousel. With a length of nearly 8 meters, our in situ repair process is ideally suited for this type of repair. Our process involves grinding the old worn shaft back to clean material and welding layed beads to build up the diameter, ready for machining. We provide a comprehensive package and ensure that your asset is back to work in a timely manner.

621 Bogger Front Axle Mounting Service

In Situ Machining is a well-known provider of Onsite XY Milling services that are both efficient and safe. They were recently able to repair a worn 621 bogger front axle surface by fabricating a custom frame to mount the portable milling machine to the bogger. The alignment process was carried out using a laser, and only minimal amounts of surface area were removed through machining. Additionally, the team expertly built up extra worn areas by welding the surface and adding material.
